As with our previous end-of-year lists, this year’s final rankings reflect the consensus of our staff’s selections combined with our readers’ choices per the poll we recently conducted, which generated more than 61,000 responses.

So without further ado, we’re thrilled to unveil our picks for the 50 Best Albums of 2025, beginning with the albums ranked #21 to #50, followed by the countdown of the top 20 albums, which we’ll unveil in succession over the next week or so.
