Lady Gaga has unveiled her new album MAYHEM, her first studio LP since 2020’s GRAMMY-Nominated Chromatica. Arriving less than six months after the release of Harlequin (2024), the companion album for the film Joker: Folie à Deux, her sixth studio album is preceded by the official singles “Disease” and “Abracadabra.” MAYHEM’s closing track is the chart-topping #1 hit single “Die With A Smile” recorded with Bruno Mars.

““There have been times in my career where I had an idea in terms of how to conceptually approach a record,” Gaga explains to Billboard. “But I would say that this album, from start to finish, was like pieces coming together,” she says. “I did not want to turn it into anything artificial, I really wanted to allow myself to just follow the music. By doing that, it started to slowly remind me of my earlier work.”
