Suzanne Vega has unveiled her new album Flying With Angels, her first set of original songs since 2014’s Tales From The Realm Of The Queen Of Pentacles. Released via Cooking Vinyl, the acclaimed singer-songwriter’s tenth studio album is preceded by four singles in the form of “Rats,” “Speakers’ Corner,” “Chambermaid” and “Alley.”

“Each song on Flying With Angels takes place in an atmosphere of struggle,” Vega explains in an official statement. “Struggle to survive, to speak, to dominate, to win, to escape, to help someone else, or just live.”

To support Flying With Angels, Vega will embark upon a North American tour next month, followed by an EU and UK tour that commences September 30th in Amsterdam and concludes November 3rd at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall.
