Brandi Carlile has unveiled her eighth studio album Returning To Myself, which follows her GRAMMY Award-nominated album In These Silent Days (2021). Featuring co-production by Aaron Dessner, Justin Vernon and Andrew Watt, the album is preceded by the official singles “Returning To Myself,” “A War WithTime” and “Church & State.”

“I have reached a place where I’ve stopped being embarrassed of my younger self,” Carlile confides to The Independent. “I don’t mind old songs or old pictures or home videos [anymore]. Everything feels like it’s all been leading up to this moment, like it’s all part of the story.”
