Deftones have unveiled their tenth studio album private music, the follow-up to 2020’s Ohms. Produced by Nashville-based Nick Raskulinecz who previously produced the band’s Diamond Eyes (2010) and Koi No Yokan (2012), private music is preceded by the official singles “my mind is a mountain” and “milk of the madonna.”

"Now in retrospect, there's little things that pop out and I feel like, 'Wow, that hearkens back to this record or that record,’” Chino Moreno explains in a recent Loudwire interview. “But you know, when we make music, it's really us just in the moment. Us being us. But I definitely try to always expand a little bit on our sound without alienating ... It was a very organic experience making this record and just us sort of reacting to each other in the moment.”

To support private music’s release, the band are currently on the road for their North American tour.
