Twelve albums in six years. For most artists, such an incessant stream of new music in such a short time period would invariably hit the point of diminishing returns, with the quality of the songs being eclipsed by the quantity of output.

But SAULT has proven to be the unique exception to this rule, as evidenced by their just-released twelfth studio album 10, which follows last year’s Acts of Faith (2024) and affirms the UK collective’s enduring penchant for moving souls and elevating spirits through song. With another impressive ensemble of gifted musicians along to support the affair, primary purveyors (and life partners) Inflo and Cleo Sol captivate once again across the 10 compositions on offer here.
