The third time proved to be the charm when the Black Keys collaborated with super producer/songwriter Danger Mouse for the album El Camino in 2011.  Having first come together for a full project in 2008 for Attack & Release, the artistic juices really began to blend between Danger Mouse and the Keys for the highly successful LP Brothers in 2010 which he also produced. Arguably the magnum opus of the band’s acclaimed portfolio, El Camino produced monster singles “Lonely Boy,” “Gold on the Ceiling” and “Little Black Submarines,” which saw talent collide with ambition and the Keys take their rightful place as bona fide rock & roll Gods of the 2010s.
