Following a trying past few years during which she suffered a stroke and sustained tornado-driven damage to her new home in Nashville, the legendary Lucinda Williams has delivered her fifteenth studio album. “[I lost] my ability to play guitar and I think some of my memory,” Williams said of the stroke during a recent Vanity Fair interview. “Basically a version of brain damage. I learned so much about how the brain works; my left arm and left hand are hard to move. I had to learn how to walk again. But thank God it didn’t affect my singing.”

Featuring guest collaborations with Jeremy Ivey, Jesse Malin, Buddy Miller, Angel Olsen, Margo Price and Tommy Stinson, Stories From A Rock N Roll Heart is preceded by the inspired lead singles “Where the Song Will Find Me,” “Stolen Moments” and “New York Comeback” with backing vocals courtesy of Patti Scialfa and Bruce Springsteen. Williams also recently unveiled her highly anticipated memoir Don’t Tell Anybody The Secrets I Told You in April.
