With just hours to go until her official induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2023 this evening, Sheryl Crow has announced that her new studio album Evolution will arrive March 29th. To coincide with the announcement, Crow has unveiled the project’s lead single in the form of the rollicking “Alarm Clock,” co-written by Crow, the album’s producer Mike Elizondo and Emily Weisband.

"This music and these lyrics came from sitting in the quiet and writing from a deep soul place,” Crow says of the follow-up to 2019’s Threads in an official statement. “I said I’d never make another record, thought there was no point to it. But this music comes from my soul. And I hope whoever hears this record can feel that."

Check out the single’s official lyric video and her recent performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon below.
