NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Lucy Rose’s “Solo(w)”

February 12, 2019 Albumism Staff

With just over a month to go until Lucy Rose releases her much-anticipated fourth studio album No Words Left on March 22nd, the UK singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist has shared “Solo(w),” the somber, stripped-down second track from the LP.

“This was the last song I wrote for the album and it feels like it was the first time I could look back at a period of time and understand it,” Rose confides in an official statement. “I wasn’t out of the dark, but I could see a light. Like every song on this record, it’s helped me in some way, but this one felt like it was pulling at me to say it was finally ok and time to move on and accept.”
