“This song is about re-imagining our society for the future, for our children and not making the same mistakes over and over again and allowing greed to corrupt our thinking,” Shirley Manson explains in an official statement about Garbage’s new single “No Gods No Masters,” the follow-up to the recently unveiled “The Men Who Rule The World.” Striking their signature, symbiotic balance between sonic dissonance and pop-driven melody, the song is the title track and second preview of their forthcoming seventh studio album, due in stores June 11th.
