Less than two years since Maggie Rogers released Surrender in the summer of 2022, she has unveiled her third studio album Don’t Forget Me. Co-produced with Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris) at New York City’s storied Electric Lady Studios, Don’t Forget Me is preceded by two official singles in the form of the title track and “So Sick of Dreaming.”
“I wanted to make an album that sounded like a Sunday afternoon,” Rogers explains in an official statement. “Worn in denim. A drive in your favorite car. No make up, but the right amount of lipstick. Something classic. The mohair throw and bottle of Whiskey in Joan Didion’s motel room. An old corvette. Vintage, but not overly Americana. I wanted to make an album to belt at full volume alone in your car, a trusted friend who could ride shotgun and be there when you needed her.”
To support the album’s release, Rogers will hit the road this spring for the Don’t Forget Me Tour, which commences May 4th at the Lovin’ Life Music Fest in Charlotte, NC.
