Released 04/19/24 | Listen Below
Five years on from the release of her fourth studio album No Words Left (2019), Lucy Rose has unveiledt her follow-up LP This Ain’t The Way You Go Out courtesy of Communion Records. Composed as she recovered from her debilitating experience with postpartum back pain and an osteoporosis diagnosis, her fifth studio affair is preceded by the official singles “Could You Help Me,” “The Racket,” “Whatever You Want,” “Over When It’s Over” and “Light As Grass,” all of which embody the singer-songwriter’s signature penchant for coupling stirring melodies with ruminative lyricism.
“Making this album has brought me so much joy,” Rose confides in an official statement. “I’ll never truly be able to describe it, but coming from a place of having no confidence in myself and my body, it filled my soul up with goodness and made me feel like me again, me but stronger!”
In conjunction with the album’s release, Rose will perform at The Roundhouse in London on April 25th.
