Madi Diaz has announced that her seventh studio album Fatal Optimist will arrive October 10th courtesy of ANTI-. “Feel Something” is the lead single for the forthcoming project, which follows last year’s GRAMMY Award-nominated Weird Faith (2024).

“Fatal Optimism is the innate hope for something magical,” Diaz reflects in an official statement. “It’s the weird faith that kicks in while knowing that there is just plain risk that comes with wanting someone or something. It’s when you have no control over the outcome, but still choose to experience every moment that happens, and put your whole heart in it.”

To support Fatal Optimist’s arrival, Diaz will perform at a series of festivals in early August, followed by a September 12th supporting slot with Caamp at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and a North American tour that kicks off September 26th in Woodstock, NY.
