Madi Diaz has unveiled her seventh studio album Fatal Optimist courtesy of ANTI-. Preceded by the official singles “Feel Something,” “Ambivalence,” “Heavy Metal” and “Why’d You Have To Bring Me Flowers,” the album follows last year’s GRAMMY Award-nominated Weird Faith (2024).

“Fatal Optimism is the innate hope for something magical,” Diaz reflects in an official statement. “It’s the weird faith that kicks in while knowing that there is just plain risk that comes with wanting someone or something. It’s when you have no control over the outcome, but still choose to experience every moment that happens, and put your whole heart in it.”

To support Fatal Optimist’s arrival, Diaz is currently gracing stages along her North American tour that commences November 21st in Pioneertown, CA.
