Nearly six years since Lenny Kravitz released his most recent album Raise Vibration (2018), the music legend has unveiled his self-produced twelfth studio album Blue Electric Light. Preceded by three official singles in the form of “TK421,” “Human” and “Paralyzed,” the album will be supported by a European tour this summer, followed by a string of five consecutive performances at Las Vegas’ Dolby Live venue in October.

“My studio’s here. I’ve made the last few records here and it’s just a place where I really get grounded,” Kravitz tells Billboard about recording the album at his Bahamas home. “The more grounded I am, the more in nature I am, the more quiet I am, the less people that are around—I hear more and more and more. I just get to a place where I’m just living in this universe of music. It doesn’t influence the kind of music. The type of music that comes, comes. The amount of music I hear and the clarity in this location is definitely intensified.”
