With 2021’s Hidden Stories, the Belgian duo of Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts rekindled their musical partnership with vocalist Geike Arnaert, who had taken an extended hiatus from Hooverphonic following 2007’s The President of the LSD Golf Club. And now the trio has extended their reunion in the form of their just-released twelfth studio album Fake Is The New Dope, which is preceded by a handful of official singles.

The album is “a signature blend of dreamy instrumentals and emotive lyricism,’ according to the group. ‘We invite you on a journey through a realm where the boundary between reality and artifice blurs.”
