Five years on from releasing his GRAMMY Award-winning album This Land (2019), Gary Clark Jr. has unveiled his musically eclectic fourth studio album JPEG RAW. The album’s title functions as an acronym for “Jealousy, Pride, Envy, Greed, Rules, Alter Ego, Worlds” and the album itself features collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Valerie June, and George Clinton, among others.

"We just kind of took it upon ourselves to find our own way and inspire ourselves," Clark explains to GRAMMY.com, reflecting upon his band’s recording process for the kaleidoscopic album during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. "And that was just putting our heads together and making music that we collectively felt was good and we liked, music we wanted to listen to again."

To support JPEG RAW, Clark Jr. and his band will hit the road for a North American tour later this spring, kicking off May 8th in Forth Worth, TX and concluding in mid-June at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. In July, they are set to play a handful of EU dates.
