Four weeks before the Red Hot Organization releases the benefit album TRAИƧA on November 22nd, Sade Adu has unveiled what is arguably the most anticipated song from the collection in the form of “Young Lion.” The song is dedicated to her son Izaak, who identifies as a transgender man, and represents the legendary singer-songwriter’s first new music since her 2018 single “The Big Unknown.”

"We started talking about all the gifts that trans artists have been giving to the world, and wanted to create a Red Hot project that centered and celebrated those gifts," TRAИƧA co-producer Dust Reid explains in an official statement. "We hoped to create a narrative that positions trans and non-binary people as leaders in our society insofar as the deep inner work they do to affirm who they are in our current climate."

The TRAИƧA collection features contributions by André 3000, Julien Baker, Fleet Foxes, Allison Russell, Sam Smith, Moses Sumney, Jeff Tweedy, Sharon Van Etten, and Wendy & Lisa, among many others.

Pre-order TRAИƧA via Bandcamp and listen to the TRAИƧA: Selects sampler below.
