With momentum continuing to build for the August 16th release of Rosie Lowe’s highly anticipated third solo studio album Lover, Other, she has unveiled the LP’s third official single “Gratitudes.” Co-produced by Lowe and D’Monk, the multi-layered and introspective “Gratitudes” follows the previously released tracks “Mood To Make Love” and “In My Head.”
“I’m a big believer in saying daily gratitudes to help shift my mindset,” Lowe explains in an official statement. “This is my ode to my morning ritual and a reminder to myself in times when I’m stuck in my head that there’s so much to be grateful for. The beat for this song came about in Berlin with D’Monk—we made it on his MPC in 15 minutes just before leaving the studio.”
The 15-track Lover, Other represents Lowe’s first solo offering since 2021’s Now, You Know mixtape/EP and her first full-length solo album since the release of her modern masterpiece YU (2019). Written, produced and recorded by the multi-dimensionally talented Lowe herself with support from her handpicked crew of musical collaborators, the new album surfaces two-and-a-half years since Duval Timothy and she delivered their acclaimed collaborative project Son (2021).
