From beginning to end, Kacey Musgraves’ latest album Golden Hour is a triumph of stirring songcraft, one that renders meaningless any country, pop, or other genre classifications one may be tempted to assign to these sterling songs. This is great music. Period.

One of the supreme standouts on this standout rich long player is the soaring “Love Is A Wild Thing,” the Tokyo performance of which Musgraves has just shared much to our ears’ delight.
