NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Dubstar’s “Token”

February 2, 2022 Albumism Staff

We’re kicking off our day today with wonderful news from the Dubstar camp, as the dynamic duo have announced that their Chris Wilkie and Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys) co-produced fifth studio album Two will make landfall May 6th. The follow-up to 2018’s One, Sarah Blackwood and Wilkie’s forthcoming long player is preceded by a series of one-off singles in the glorious form of “Hygiene Strip,” “I Can See You Outside,” “Tectonic Plates,” and now, the propulsive, multi-textured pop perfection of “Token,” which feels (and sounds) “like real love,” indeed.

Enjoy the official video for “Token” below and be sure to mark May 6th in your calendars.
