NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Belinda Carlisle’s “Big Big Love”

March 16, 2023 Albumism Staff
Belinda Carlisle Big Big Love

Nearly six years on from her last studio album (2017’s Wilder Shores) and twenty-seven years since her most recently released English-language LP (1996’s A Woman & A Man), Belinda Carlisle has returned with her propulsive new single “Big Big Love” and its accompanying video. Written by the highly decorated songsmith Diane Warren, the effervescent track finds the music legend in resplendent form and represents the initial offering from her forthcoming Kismet EP, which is slated to be unveiled May 12th

“27 years on from making my last English language pop record, I really wasn’t thinking I would ever make one again,” Carlisle confides via Twitter. “I can't thank Diane Warren enough for writing this powerful song for me. I hope you love it as much as I do!”

Enjoy the official video for “Big Big Love” below. And be sure to catch Ms. Carlisle’s live show, if and when she visits your town during her upcoming US tour.
