NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Alison Goldfrapp’s “So Hard So Hot”

March 16, 2023 Albumism Staff
Alison Goldfrapp So Hard So Hot

Six years on from Goldfrapp’s most recent studio album as a duo (2017’s Silver Eye), Alison Goldfrapp has announced her debut album The Love Invention. Due to surface in stores May 12th, the album is preceded by the lush lead single “So Hard So Hot,” released this morning and already on repeat here at Albumism HQ.

“This is my tribute to the dance floor and it's been so liberating to make,” Goldfrapp says of the forthcoming LP. “On this album, you’ll be able to hear the originals of the teasers that have already been released…plus many more.”

Check out the accompanying visuals for “So Hard So Hot” below and be sure to circle May 12th in your calendars for The Love Invention’s highly anticipated arrival.
