Artist: BANKS
Song: “Gimme”
Album: TBD

The new music horizon for the remainder of 2019 just became a whole lot brighter with BANKS’ unveiling of her new single “Gimme,” which finds the songstress embracing her signature beat-heavy, multi-layered sound to magnetic effect. The first offering from her forthcoming, as-yet-untitled third studio album that follows 2016’s The Altar, “Gimme” was co-written with Buddy Ross (Frank Ocean, HAIM), and co-produced by Hudson Mohawke (Kanye West, Drake) and BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Francis and the Lights).

“‘Gimme’ is a song about getting what you want,” BANKS explains in an official statement. “It’s about knowing what you deserve, saying it out loud, and demanding it with no apologies. I’m ready to release this into the world and begin a new chapter.”

[UPDATE 5/23/19: BANKS has unveiled the accompanying video for “Gimme,’ which appears below.]
