NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Bruce Springsteen’s “Hello Sunshine”

April 27, 2019 Albumism Staff

Artist: Bruce Springsteen
Song: “Hello Sunshine”
Album: Western Stars (Due in stores June 14th)

More than five years have passed since Bruce Springsteen’s last studio album—2014’s High Hopes—surfaced, but his fans’ loyalty and patience will soon be rewarded in the form of his forthcoming nineteenth LP Western Stars. “This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character-driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements,” Springsteen explained in an official statement. “It’s a jewel box of a record.”

Due in stores June 14th, Western Stars is preceded by its ruminative lead single “Hello Sunshine,” the lyric video for which appears below for your listening and reading pleasure.
