The legendary Bananarama have returned with their twelfth studio album Masquerade, an electrifying excursion into the propulsive pop that they have perfected across the past four decades. The follow-up to 2019’s In Stereo, Masquerade reunites Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward with longtime collaborator and producer Ian Masterson (Bright Light Bright Light, Geri Halliwell, Dannii Minogue).
“For me, why would you stop if you love doing what you do?” Woodward contemplates in a new Billboard interview. “Why would you think, ‘Oh, I’m a certain age and I should stop now.’ If you’ve still got the joy of doing it, I don’t think you could possibly put a date on when you should finish up, as long as people want to hear what you’re doing.”
