Less than two years since The Smile released their acclaimed debut album A Light for Attracting Attention (2022), the band comprised of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner have unveiled their follow-up set Wall of Eyes. Produced by Sam Petts-Davies and featuring string arrangements performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra, Wall of Eyes is preceded by the singles “Bending Hectic,” “Wall of Eyes,” and “Friend of a Friend.”

“We’ve developed a lot of trust along the way; that’s a really important aspect of any band, really—especially this combination of people,” Skinner explained during a recent screening event in London. “That’s been developed over the last five years and we’ve done quite a lot of playing together. Touring the first record really solidified the chemistry that was already there, but playing live every night just takes it to the next level. Going into this record, we just wanted to build and expand on that.”

The group will tour throughout Europe this spring and summer, beginning June 8th in Hamburg and concluding August 28th in Valencia.
