PJ Harvey has released her tenth studio album I Inside the Old Year Dying courtesy of Partisan Records. One of our 30 most anticipated albums of 2023 and the follow-up to her most recent studio LP The Hope Demolition Project (2016), I Inside the Old Year Dying is preceded by the haunting lead single “A Child's Question, August” and the recently unveiled “I Inside The Old I Dying.”

“I think the album is about searching, looking—the intensity of first love, and seeking meaning,” Harvey explains in an official statement. “Not that there has to be a message, but the feeling I get from the record is one of love—it’s tinged with sadness and loss, but it’s loving. I think that’s what makes it feel so welcoming: so open.”
