Nearly five years since the arrival of her most recent studio LP comprised of original songs (2019’s Any Human Friend), Marika Hackman has unveiled her new album Big Sigh. Co-produced with Sam Petts-Davies (Thom Yorke, Warpaint) and longtime collaborator Charlie Andrew (Alt-J), the UK singer-songwriter’s fourth studio album is preceded by the singles “No Caffeine,” “Hanging,” “Slime” and “The Yellow Mile.”

“To me, this record has the quietness of my first album and that close to the surface feeling,” Hackman explains to DIY Magazine. “But it has the abrasiveness and the sass of my second and third—it’s all there, instead of picking one direction.”

To support the album’s release, Hackman will hit the road for her UK/EU tour that commences March 12th in Glasgow and concludes April 15th in Paris.
