Less than a year since Ben Harper released Bloodline Maintenance in July 2022, he has unveiled its follow-up effort Wide Open Light. Preceded by lead singles “Yard Sale” featuring Jack Johnson and “Love After Love,” the album’s arrival will be accompanied by a European and North American tour this summer and fall.

“There was once a time when albums didn’t need an adjacent story or fable. When the songs were enough,” Harper reflects in an official statement. “I’m excited to return to this.”
