Two years on from the release of her acclaimed second studio album Beatopia (2022), Beatrice Laus a.k.a. beabadoobee has delivered her third LP This Is How Tomorrow Moves. Co-produced by Jacob Bugden and Rick Rubin, the album is preceded by four official singles “Take A Bite,” “Coming Home” “Ever Seen” and “Beaches.”

“The record is just me navigating and understanding this new world of entering womanhood and just trying to figure out [that] I need to be mature about things, I need to look at things in a different light,” the London-based singer-songwriter explains to Elle.

“It was really interesting experiencing that and the magical-ness of Shangri-La in Malibu and his notes and his advice,” she says of working with Rubin at his famed Malibu studio. “I just feel like it benefited the record so much, and I’m just so glad I decided to do this, because a big part of me was very scared, and then I just jumped in.”
