An accomplished journalist, Justin’s passion for music and broad-ranging writing experience are right at home within Albumism’s ever-evolving content platform. Justin Slaughter is a critic and journalist with a stalled songwriting career. Ten years ago, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground and Radiohead taught him what is important in life. He's reviewed contemporary albums for Slant Magazine and has written about American politics and popular culture for Bookforum, Jacobin, Talking Points Memo and elsewhere. He is based in Brooklyn, New York.
