Though we suspect that the elegantly crafted Early Riser failed to register on too many of our readers’ musical radars, Taylor McFerrin’s 2014 debut album is unequivocally one of our favorite albums to emerge in the past five years. So our expectations are sky high for the multidimensional talent’s just-announced second long player Love’s Last Chance due in stores August 16th.

But if the shimmering, buoyant groove of lead single “Now That You Need Me” is any indication, McFerrin’s destined to impress yet again with his forthcoming sophomore affair. Listen to it below and keep your eyes peeled for updated tour dates which should surface soon enough.
