Album: Traces (due in stores October 5th) | Pre-Order

For 24 long years, Steve Perry’s legion of faithful fans have wondered if the former Journey frontman would ever return to recording music. And on October 5th, their patience will finally be rewarded when Perry releases his third album Traces, the long-awaited successor to 1994’s For the Love of Strange Medicine. With the apropos opening line of “I know it’s been a long time comin,’” Perry has unveiled the project’s lead single “No Erasin’” and its accompanying video, which can be seen below, along with a handful of his classic visuals and throwback live performances.

“Putting 30 years into 10 songs has certainly been an emotional experience for me,” Perry says of the album in an official statement. “I started writing and recording these songs with the creative freedom that I was the only one who would ever hear them. Along the way, I rediscovered my love for music. Each track represents traces of my past, but is also a hopeful look into the future. I invite you to listen with an open heart.”
