Hot on the heels of celebrating the 20th anniversary of Shelby Lynne’s breakthrough 2000 album I Am Shelby Lynne, we’re thrilled to learn that the acclaimed singer-songwriter is set to release her fourteenth studio album this spring. Slated to arrive in stores April 17th courtesy of Thirty Tigers, the eponymous Shelby Lynne—which follows 2015’s I Can’t Imagine and 2017’s Not Dark Yet with her sister Allison Moorer—is preceded by the sparse yet gripping piano-driven lead single “Here I Am.”

“These are eleven songs I love and want to share with the world,” Lynne explains in an official statement. “They were recorded in very different circumstances at various times but I think they go together. It’s time to not hide behind the game but put your work out as it is.”

Watch a special live performance of “Here I Am” below and stay tuned for updates regarding Lynne’s highly anticipated new album.
