Off the back of the bluesy, groove-laden “Save A Little For Yourself,” singer-songwriter-actress Mandy Moore has finally unveiled the title of her forthcoming seventh studio set, Silver Landings. Produced by Mike Viola—who oversaw Moore’s previously lauded collection Amanda Leigh (2009)—Silver Landings is described by the artist as “a very California sounding record—something that feels sunshiny and airy and natural.”
“Save A Little For Yourself” joins the equally lush guitar-pop entries of “When I Wasn’t Watching” and “I’d Rather Lose,” the first and second singles from Silver Landings respectively. All three songs have created a palpable sense of anticipation among Moore’s core followers and attracted newcomers too.
In addition to prepping for the reveal of her new album on March 6th, Moore has been gearing up for a subsequent spring tour of the United States and managed to fold in a few campaign events with 2020 Democratic hopeful Pete Buttigieg. And this is to say nothing of her continuing role as Rebecca Pearson on NBC’s beloved staple, This Is Us. Moore is red hot right now and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
