NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Rosie Lowe’s “Birdsong”

January 28, 2019 Albumism Staff

Artist: Rosie Lowe
Song: “Birdsong”
Album: YU (Due in stores May 10th) | Pre-Order

Firmly entrenched within our list of 2019’s most anxiously anticipated albums is Rosie Lowe’s forthcoming second studio album. The follow-up to her sublime 2016 debut LP Control, YU promises to showcase the continued lyrical, vocal and musical evolution of the London-based singer-songwriter’s dynamic and distinctive artistry. Propelled by a hypnotic, funktastic groove, “Birdsong” is the sterling first offering from the project and we can’t wait to hear much, much more. In the meantime, we encourage you to enjoy the Jovan Todorovic directed visuals below.

UPDATE (April 4, 2019): Watch Ms. Lowe’s recent COLORS performance of “Birdsong” below.
