On the heels of the recent 30th Anniversary of Mariah Carey’s breakthrough, eponymous debut album Mariah Carey (1990) and in conjunction with her forthcoming memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey (due September 29th), the 2020 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee has revealed plans for a career-spanning rarities collection.

Slated to arrive October 2nd as part of Carey’s ongoing #MC30 campaign, The Rarities features 15 previously unreleased songs including the just-unveiled “Save The Day,” her sterling collaboration with none other than Ms. Lauryn Hill.

“[The Rarities] is for you, my fans,” Carey confides via Twitter. “It's to celebrate us, and to thank you for years of pure love and support. I am so grateful to you.”
