Nearly two years since Margaret Glaspy unveiled her acclaimed second studio album Devotion (2020), the California-bred, New York City-based singer-songwriter has announced the forthcoming release of her new single “Love Is Real” b/w “Heart Shape.” Available to stream now in advance of the single’s official arrival on March 29th courtesy of ATO Records, the acoustic, strings-laden A-side “Love Is Real” is a sparse yet stirring paean to the redemptive power of love, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“This song has taken on many different meanings and in my mind it has been directed toward different people,” Glaspy explains in an official statement. “In the end, I think I needed to hear this song the most to remember that love is real and that I belong. For all of the heartache that life brings, there is infinite love. Now, maybe it can be a reminder for someone else.”

Shortly after the single arrives in late March, Glaspy will hit the road for a series of performances throughout April and May, including a handful of headlining gigs and multiple dates as direct support for Spoon during the first leg of the band’s tour.
