Kindred musical spirits Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay have joined creative forces under the collaborative moniker LUMP, recently announcing that their eponymous debut album is set to arrive June 1st. The duo have also unveiled the project’s instantly memorable lead single “Curse of the Contemporary,” accompanied by the equally provocative, Esteban Diacono directed video. We’re likely to have Marling’s opening refrain of “If you should be bored in California / I’m sure I’m not the first to warn you” stuck in our heads for awhile now.
