NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Lisa Stansfield’s “Everything”

February 9, 2018 Albumism Staff

Artist: Lisa Stansfield
Song: “Everything”
Album: Deeper (due in stores April 6th)
Pre-Order: Amazon | iTunes
Upcoming Tour: Dates

It’s tough to fathom that next year marks the 30th anniversary milestone of Lisa Stansfield’s breakout debut album Affection (1989). But over the past three decades, the dynamic singer-songwriter has diligently continued crafting sublime song suites, most recently the underappreciated 2014 gem Seven. Stansfield’s eighth studio album Deeper is slated to be released April 6th, and lead single “Everything” finds her in signature dancefloor-filling form with her soaring, soulful vocals gloriously intact throughout the track. Listen to it below and check out the special album preview with commentary from Ms. Stansfield herself!
