We’re admittedly still reveling in the emotional high of this week’s welcome changes at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and now we have an inspired blast of new music from the mighty Judith Hill to keep our spirits raised sky high as the weekend beckons.

The title track from the Los Angeles based singer-songwriter’s forthcoming third studio album and the follow-up to the previously unveiled lead single “Americana,” “Baby, I’m Hollywood!” is a kinetic mélange of rock and soul propelled by Hill’s powerful vocals and palpable musical swagger. The successor to Hill’s 2015 debut album Back in Time (notably co-produced by Prince) and 2018’s Golden Child, the full-length Baby, I’m Hollywood! affair is set to land in stores March 5th.

“Baby, I'm Hollywood! personifies Hollywood as a woman,” Hill explains in an official statement. “The music captures her free spirit, yet lyrically, it underlines the pain she has endured. It is very much a reflection of my life and how it has been growing up in the entertainment business. The show must always go on and yet you learn how to put your pain in the songs.... that is what makes the stage so visceral and alive. Beyond the lights and glamour, there is depth. I wanted to show that side of Hollywood and give the word a different feeling.”
