NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Jewel’s “Dancing Slow” Featuring Train

Nearly seven years since her most recent studio affair (2015’s Picking Up The Pieces), Jewel has announced that her thirteenth LP entitled Freewheelin’ Woman is set to arrive April 15th courtesy of her own Words Matter Music imprint. The album is preceded by the melodic lead single “Dancing Slow” featuring Train, whom she’ll tour with this summer, beginning June 8th in Mansfield, MA.

"'Dancing Slow' is ultimately about the ebb and flow of life, and cherishing those moments of certainty that are shared when you’re with a trusted companion,” Jewel explains in an official statement. “It feels like time slows down for a moment. I'm so glad Train was able to join me on this track, with Pat Monahan's sweet vocals adding another layer to the melody."
