NEW MUSIC WE LOVE: Jessie Ware’s “Mirage (Don’t Stop)”

November 6, 2019 Albumism Staff

A few days ago, we rewound the clock by five years to include Jessie Ware’s Tough Love (2014) in our list of the decade’s best albums. And today, we’re quickly catching back up to the present with the UK singer-songwriter’s smashing new single “Mirage (Don’t Stop).”

As has become her signature trade alongside her sweeping ballads, the track is yet another sublime slice of dancefloor-designed soul that augurs inspired sounds to come from her forthcoming fourth studio affair and follow-up to 2017’s Glasshouse, presumably due to arrive sometime next year. “Mirage (Don’t Stop)” follows Ware’s previously unveiled one-off singles “Overtime” and “Adore You.”
