The legendary DJ Shadow has announced that his new album Action Adventure—the follow-up to 2019’s Our Pathetic Age—will land in stores October 27th courtesy of Mass Appeal/Liquid Amber. He has also unveiled the project’s lead single “Ozone Scraper,” accompanied by the official video directed by Stefano Ottaviano.

“I didn't want to write music that was formatted for vocalists,” Shadow says of the largely instrumental LP in an official statement. “I wanted to write music that flexed different energies.”

Just prior to Action Adventure’s release, Shadow will headline the Submersion Festival in Hammonton, NJ on October 6th, followed by shows in Denver and Chicago on October 21st and 22nd, respectively.
