Alison Moyet Such Small Ale

Alison Moyet has announced that her tenth studio album Key—the follow-up to 2017’s Other—will arrive October 4th courtesy of Motley Music/Cooking Vinyl, nearly 40 years after she released her debut solo album Alf in November 1984. She has also unveiled the project’s lead single “Such Small Ale” and its accompanying lyric video, which appears below.

“I wanted to take the opportunity to look at the trajectory of the past four decades and explore songs that, in their original form, were never fully realised or have had their relevance to me altered by time,” Moyet explains in an official statement.

Moyet has also revealed plans for a 2025 world tour and launched a new podcast entitled 40 Moyet Moments, in which she reflects upon “the key moments of her 40-year career as a solo artist: the highs, the lows and everything in between.”
