Underneath The Pine is equal parts psychedelic and reflective. Its instrumentation is hazy and reminiscent of music from the '70s. The beats find their match in Toro's vocals, as his singing is trance-like on many cuts. More than just a collection of songs, the album offers a different world to enter for as long as the music plays.
