A staggeringly meditative lullaby, Similes was the only antidote to my restless mind after an unexpected breakup flung life into a massively disorienting upheaval. As I shivered from the cold within, I took solace in the beautifully pensive piano and hushed vocals of Matthew Cooper who managed to bring me temporary peace when nothing else could. I offer nothing more in this moment—sometimes, purity and simplicity are all one can crave.
