The English quintet All Saints rose to prominence in 1998 with an urban-pop style that charmed critics, won them adoring fans and yielded them scores of multiplatinum albums. Arriving at their fifth set Testament, All Saints are older, wiser and much more experienced—and it shows in the best ways. Testament contains an arresting blend of fizzy funk numbers and showstopping pop-soul confections all supercharged by the four women and their vocalizing (either in harmony or individually). As grown-up pop heroines, All Saints are bolder and brighter than they were in their earlier days.
