WATCH: Dido Live at London’s Brixton Academy

January 26, 2019 Albumism Staff

As we count down the days until Dido blesses us with her fifth studio album Still On My Mind on March 8th, we’re indulging our love and nostalgia for Ms. Armstrong’s repertoire to date by revisiting her dynamic early-career performance at London’s Brixton Academy. Originally recorded live in August 2004 and officially released on DVD the following year, the show captures the magic of the songstress’ tour in support of her second studio album Life for Rent (2003).

Comprised of sixteen highlights from the three-night string of shows, the set features Dido’s most familiar fare such as “Thank You” and “Hunter” (from her 1999 debut LP No Angel) and “White Flag” and “Don’t Leave Home” (from Life for Rent), as well as beloved non-single tracks including “Take My Hand” and “See You When You’re 40.”
